The Freedom to Choose Project (FTC) is a pioneering Program in prison rehabilitation, recognized by the California State Assembly for excellence in supporting rehabilitation and reducing recidivism.
Through our unique approach of compassionate, experiential education, we empower incarcerated individuals to transform their lives, reduce conflict, and become a positive presence in their families and communities.
Our evidence-based programs, delivered by dedicated volunteers across California’s prison system, demonstrate that sustainable rehabilitation is possible—helping participants develop the inner freedom to break cycles of recidivism and create lasting positive change.
