During these challenging times of wildfires affecting our community, we invite you to join us for an in-person afternoon of community and connection.
Together, we’ll create a gentle space to process loss and grief, share our stories and hold for each other as we navigate these challenging times.
In our workshops, we often speak of the space between stimulus and response – that precious moment where our power to choose resides.
During these wildfires affecting our Los Angeles community, we’re witnessing this principle in action through countless acts of courage, compassion, and community support.
From people opening their homes to neighbors checking on neighbors, we see the profound truth that even in circumstances we didn’t choose, we can choose how we show up for each other.
Working in small groups of three (“trios”)– the heart of our practice – we’ll have the opportunity to listen deeply, share authentically, and support one another. This simple yet profound format has been the foundation of our work both in prisons and in the community.
We look forward to coming together as a community to continue our commitment to healing and growing as individuals and collectively.
