This year has brought significant changes, leaving many in our community uncertain about where to turn. From the devastating Los Angeles fires to the storms that followed and the economic shifts affecting our daily lives, finding spaces for community, healing, and understanding has never been more important.
Together, we’ll create a supportive space to process change and uncertainty, share our stories, and hold space for one another as we move forward.
In our workshops, we often speak of the space between stimulus and response—that precious moment where our power to choose our next action resides.
Here, we’ll have the opportunity to practice this principle, strengthening our ability to show up with courage, compassion, and connection—for ourselves and for our community.
From people opening their homes to neighbors checking on neighbors, we see the profound truth that even in circumstances we didn’t choose, we can choose how we show up for each other.
Working in small groups of three (“trios”)– the heart of our practice – we’ll have the opportunity to listen deeply, share authentically, and support one another. This simple yet profound format has been the foundation of our work both in prisons and in the community.
We look forward to coming together as a community to continue our commitment to healing and growing as individuals and collectively.
