“If you want something you’ve never had, you must be willing to do something you’ve never done,” Thomas Jefferson once wrote.
This premise beats at the heart of The Freedom to Choose Project.
What does it take to make new choices?
What does it take to create new outcomes— and even a whole new life– for oneself?
What does it take to create a new world, together?
It takes waking up everyday and choosing to be a better person today than you were yesterday.
It takes having the awareness and compassion to keep choosing a better way.
It takes the willingness to contribute your time, energy, and resources towards something larger.
Over the next 4 weeks, we’ll be living the answers to these questions, as a community.
Celebrating 15 Years of The Freedom to Choose Project
November 19 – December 19, 2019
Wow, do we have a lot to celebrate! Because of your generous service and fiscal support, for the past 15 years, FTC has been able to provide award-winning rehabilitative programs– based on spiritual psychology– to nearly 4,000 individuals in 5 California prisons.
To both honor all that we’ve done and look ahead to where we’re going next, we’ll be sharing 5 inspirational videos throughout the month.
These “Tales of Freedom,” feature stories of profound transformation— from suffering to success— in both our volunteers and program participants.
Good news: 0ur first video is live today!
Tales of Freedom #1:
FTC’s Origin Story with David & Bonnie Paul
In our first “Tale of Freedom,” FTC’s co-founders, Bonnie and David Paul discuss our humble and heart-centered beginnings (we started out as a graduate school passion project!) as well as our grand vision for the future.
If you’ve been part of the FTC community for some time, we invite you to share these videos (on social media, via emails to friends) to support us in raising funds for the next stage of our growth.
(Pssst! if you haven’t yet joined our FTC Street Team to help us spread the word, please do so here now!)
And if you’re brand-new to FTC, welcome! These videos will give you a glimpse of who we are, where we’ve come from, and what you can help us build going forward.
As we prepare to step into a whole new DECADE together in 2020, the era of “me” is officially over. Yes, to help turn this world around, it’s time for the era of “we.”
Yes, WE need your financial support to enable program participants to learn, grow, and transform their lives (and so often the lives of their families too)!
Every donation matters.
Any amount helps.
