Hello friends,

I hope you’re having a great start to September!

In case we haven’t met yet, I’m Sara, the Director of Operations here at The Freedom to Choose Project.

I wanted to let you know that I’m hosting our second FTC Community Call next Thursday, September 19 from 12-1pm Pacific

Our co-founders, Bonnie & David Paul, will be joining us this month. Together we’ll explore our mission, vision, and values– those things that we all hold most dear in this work. We’ll also share some exciting, new things happening during these final months of 2019.

This call is happening within our new, online FTC Community (hosted by Mighty Networks). In order to join the call, you’ll need to first join our Mighty Network. If you haven’t already done so, you can join here now. It only takes a few minutes!

What: FTC Community Call with co-founders, Bonnie & David Paul

Where: Zoom (join via your phone or computer). Get the call info inside Mighty Networks here.

When: Thursday, September 19 from 12pm-1pm Pacific

We look forward to seeing you on the call next week!

Warm wishes,
Sara Avant Stover

Director of Operations

P.S. Can’t make it live? No worries! While there will be the opportunity to interact with our community when you come live, we know that’s not always possible.

We’ll post the link to the recording in Mighty Networks within a few days of each monthly call. (Sorry, we won’t be able to email the recordings out to everyone. So we encourage you to join our Network here now.)

P.P.S. We’re opening a volunteer enrollment lottery for 3 fall prison projects this Sunday!

This is a chance for you to register to volunteer at brand-new programs in 2 brand-new prisons we’re working with (California Men’s Colony in San Luis Obispo, CA & Substance Abuse Treatment Facility in Corcoran, CA) in October and November.

We can only bring small teams with us to two of these prison projects, and enrollment will be open for 1 week. So please keep an eye on your inbox this Sunday. We’d be honored to have you on one of these pioneering volunteer teams!
